The creation of myself is never ending and ever changing. My interests change as I evolve. I am first and foremost a writer and artist. As I've worked on building my mental knowledge, a natural by product appeared, and I began working on the outward expression of my inner self. As I've grown, my innate tendency to be an introvert, quiet and shy, has expanded into a few more extroverted realms. While I can't say that being the center of attention is something I strive for on a daily basis, it is something fun to do as the mood strikes. I am many things: Realtor, doctor, writer, artist, model, competitor, wife, mother, daughter...I am limitless.
The Entreprenur: In listening to "How to Work like Leonardo da Vinci" for the millionth time...I realized that my "job" is really just about helping people achieve their goals. So, in one aspect, I focus on Real Estate, helping them buy and sell their properties to make changes in their lifestyles. If you change gears, then I help others with learning to take responsibility for themselves with MBS Works because this is just, well, how I live. I am an author and thanks to participating in Nanowrimo in 2005 and 2006, I am finally accomplishing my writing goals (not to mention a completely supportive spouse having a great impact on my ability to focus on writing again).
I have a few fiction books circulating the rounds at publishers and off to my preferred agent. Hopefully, she'll love my writing style and want to work with me. I'm thinking of expanding my dissertation to book length since I was pretty pleased with the page limited edition. (I've also recently been accepted to a publishing house for non-fiction book! Check back frequently for updates on my progress :)) A number of new stories have been started, and I hope to keep up the pace and let it lead me into writing full time as a career AND a passion!
As I mentioned, I'm a health & fitness nut. Health and fitness is a way of life, not just a quick fix, so I make new strides in the physique each year. I am a nationally ranked NPA & NGA Figure Competitor, placing third in my class for two shows in 2006. I competed in various associations in 2006, such as NPA, NGA, OCB and others. In 2007 I changed gears for a while and I'm currently working on obtaining my Black Belt in TKD! And, if the mood strikes, I'll work on competing again, but right now...I'm tackling TKD Tournaments with my son. Check out MBS Works to keep track of my progress. I have a phenomenal spouse who cheers me on, and a mother who's dedicated to figuring out new and inventive ways to keep me eating, but eating clean!
